ABOUT THE CLIENT
J'Adore Napoli is a project created by NSS Magazine, a leading fashion magazine renowned for its coverage of fashion, street style, and pop culture. NSS Magazine has established itself as a key player in Italy’s contemporary fashion landscape, consistently pushing the boundaries of trends and cultural narratives. J'Adore Napoli is a tribute to Naples, blending the city’s rich traditions with a modern, tourist-oriented aesthetic. Through a collection of souvenirs, J'Adore Napoli offers a fresh take on the city's identity, celebrating its origins while incorporating a contemporary, playful twist. As part of the J'Adore Napoli project, NSS Edicola was created as a pop-up shop selling exclusive products from the collection. This concept store merged nostalgia with modern design, capturing the essence of Naples while appealing to both locals and visitors.

BRIEF
The brief for this project was to create a graphic design for a Christmas board inspired by the traditional Tombola Napoletana, an iconic part of Naples' holiday culture. The purpose of the design was to support a special event at NSS Edicola, where each customer who made a purchase would have the chance to participate in a draw to win unique J'Adore Napoli prizes. The design had to evoke the festive, nostalgic atmosphere of Neapolitan traditions while providing an engaging, memorable experience for customers. The collaboration extended to The Napolitaner, who partnered in the creation of the event, further tying the project to the essence of Naples' rich cultural identity. The aesthetic of the design was retro, with a nod to vintage Neapolitan style, capturing a sense of nostalgia and local pride.

SOLUTION
The graphic board design was created with a nostalgic, retro aesthetic that references the traditional elements of Tombola Napoletana, blending them with a modern, festive energy. The design was crafted to evoke a sense of warmth, tradition, and fun, with vibrant colors and bold typography that captured the playful spirit of the game. The board visually reflected the excitement of the prize draw, bringing a contemporary twist to the timeless Neapolitan custom. The poster served as both a functional tool for the event and a celebration of Neapolitan culture, perfectly aligned with J'Adore Napoli’s mission to reimagine the city's identity for a modern audience. The final result was a lively, engaging design that resonated with the spirit of Naples while aligning with the playful nature of the event.
