BRIEF
The objective was to create a visual identity that reflects Coolio Mag’s core ethos: empowering brands through storytelling and capturing the attention of today’s digital audiences. The brand needed a modern, dynamic design system that would resonate with a broad audience while positioning the magazine as an authority in driving attention-based success for brands. The design had to convey the magazine’s focus on engaging storytelling, its vibrant culture, and its mission to help brands connect authentically with their target market.
SOLUTION
The design solution incorporated bold typography and vibrant color choices to reflect Coolio Mag’s youthful energy and digital-first approach. The visual identity is clean, modern, and bold, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to dynamic, attention-grabbing content. By integrating these elements into a cohesive system, the brand can communicate its message effectively and engage with its audience in a way that is both memorable and impactful. The aesthetic encapsulates the magazine’s role in helping brands craft meaningful narratives that resonate in today’s fast-paced media environment.
MY ROLE
As the lead designer, I developed the magazine's visual identity, encompassing logo design, typography, color palette, and the broader design system. The focus was on creating an identity that aligns with the magazine’s mission to empower brands through attention-driven storytelling. I also created a comprehensive set of brand guidelines and assets for consistent application across multiple platforms.
